Player Development — How it works
Discover how professional assessments, individual coaching and tailored development plans help players understand their strengths, identify areas for improvement and work towards their football ambitions. Physical coaching is currently based in Sutton Coldfield, England.

Different Roles.
Different Details.
Different Reports.
Different positions demand different qualities. So why should every player receive the same scouting report?
A centre-back requires a different skill set from a striker. A central midfielder faces different tactical, technical and physical demands from a winger or full-back.
At The Academy Insider, we don't believe in generic player assessments.
Drawing on over 30 years of experience in professional football, including coaching, scouting and recruitment within English Premier League and EFL academies, Rusty has developed specialist, position-specific scouting reports inspired by the professional assessment standards used within England's leading football clubs.

Forward
Position Specific Assessment based on the T.I.P.S scouting report.
Every assessment considers the technical abilities, tactical understanding, physical attributes and psychological qualities required for your position. Personality is assessed through observable football behaviours — communication, responses to setbacks and coachability — never psychological diagnoses.
This means you receive more than a general opinion of your performance. You receive a detailed, position-specific assessment identifying your strengths, areas for improvement and a personalised development action plan.
No generic reports. No guesswork.
Just professional football assessments built around your position.
Understand your position. Know your level. Develop your game.
